Jasmine, a 10 year old in England, was not doing well in school. She was
unable to keep up with the class, or follow the teacher’s instructions.
As a result, she struggled in all her lessons and received poor grades.
At home, she also struggled – even with simple tasks, like cleaning her
room. Her mother, Emma, a teacher, was very frustrated: “sometimes
Jasmine would be in tears because she couldn’t remember everything she
was supposed to do.”
The reason for Jasmine’s struggle was her poor working memory. Without
a good working memory anything that requires working with information
– such as reading and math – will be affected. When Jasmine’s
working memory was tested by the school psychologist, she was found to
be in the 3rd percentile. Over the summer, her mother found out about
how Jungle Memory dramatically improves working memory, and signed her
up for the 8 week online program.
Emma began to notice improvements at home. At school, Jasmine’s
teacher was amazed at her progress. Jasmine no longer needed extra
help in the classroom and her grades improved. When Jasmine was
retested by the school psychologist, her IQ had increased to the top
10% for her age and her working memory improved by 800%!
As Emma told us: ‘Jasmine continues to go from strength to
strength with her memory skills. She received a memory certificate in
school last week, which I thought would make you smile. She's
certainly never received any kind of accolade for her memory skills
before!’
Eleni, a Special Needs Teacher in Canada, has been using Jungle
Memory with her students for 2 years in a row. She uses it with
students who struggle in reading, math, and writing, as Jungle Memory
specifically targets these crucial skills. Some of her students also
find it a challenge to stay focused on the task at hand and their
minds wander when reading or performing calculations. Many of Eleni’s
students see dramatic improvements in their grades and their attention
after using Jungle Memory. One student, who had not improved his
reading levels for over a year and a half, was able to progress 3
reading levels after training!
Elsa is the Director of Phonics in Beijing, a consultancy service in
China for those learning language. Elsa has been using Jungle Memory
for a while now and has found it to be extremely effective in teaching
language: ‘I have seen so much success with my own students who have
used it.’
Lynette, an accountant, was beside herself. Her son, Shaun, was
having a very hard time in his math class and was failing his tests.
She thought that because she was so good at math that he would be
as well. Night after night, she stayed up with him to help him finish
his homework, but he still didn’t improve. After trying Jungle Memory,
she noticed an amazing transformation. First, she saw that he was
asking for her help less and less. Then she found that he
was completing his math homework much more quickly than before.
Eventually, he stopped asking for her help. He even stopped using
scraps of paper to complete his homework! He was doing it all in his
head, now. Still, Lynette was sceptical. How could any program work so
well? So, one night, after Shaun went to bed, she checked his homework
... and she found that all the answers were correct! Jungle Memory
had changed his life.
